Sunset at Long Beach (Tofino, Canada)

“Magical sunsets at the beach calm my soul and fill me with a blissful peace.” – Heather M. Sinton. Long Beach, the longest beach of Pacific Rim National Park Reserve, spans an extraordinary 16km (10mi) along the west coast of Vancouver Island. Locals and visitors alike have described it as magical. I try to visit it as often as I can and have captured its various moods with my camera. I decided to use several of my photos as inspiration to create a 16 x 20 inch acrylic painting on canvas of a beautiful sunset under an amazing sky.
