Blackfoot Teepee (Blank Photo Card)

$6.00

The Blackfoot Confederacy, sometimes referred to as the Blackfoot Nation or Siksikaitsitapi, is comprised of three Indigenous nations: the Kainai, Pikani and Siksika. The Blackfoot’s traditional territory covers parts of southern Alberta and Saskatchewan, as well as northern Montana. Before European settlement these peoples lived freely on the land, following bison across the plains to hunting grounds. Because of their portability, Blackfoot people lived in tipis, like the one pictured here. When you purchase this image, it can be downloaded to use for a print or to place on a gift (e.g., mug). You can also order a box of cards (separate listing). Just choose that product and email me with the names of the images that you would like on each card. The information about the Blackfoot peoples will appear on the back of the cards.
